FUKEI
In view of the climate crisis, people are becoming increasingly interested in environmental issues. Using a fun learning approach, FUKEI aims to arouse children’s interest in the environment and encourage them to ask questions.
Made up of 10 wooden and ceramic pieces symbolizing natural elements, FUKEI — “landscape” in Japanese — is an educational game, created by Maxime LE CORRE during his studies within the International Class. Children move the pieces around to create a landscape while at the same time developing their sense of observation and sharing. A booklet presents each element of the game as a real-life character with a role to play in the ecosystem. Fukei is aimed at schools, daycare centers and leisure centers, to help children become eco-friendly from a young age.
This project is part of Design portfolio 2020, a selection of 36 projects from this year which bear witness to the talent, creativity and know-how developed by the students during their undergraduate studies.
