RE RUN
Design for a sustainable and responsible footwear industry
Congrats to Thomas Sebille, alumni 2023, who won first prize in the Running/Trail Running category of the 2024 Global Footwear Awards for his RE RUN project!
RE RUN is a running shoe concept designed to last. The shoe features a removable midsole, allowing it to be replaced once the foam becomes too compressed or worn. It also has a reinforced upper to ensure its durability.
After completing his first cycle of the Master's degree in Design in product design, Thomas joined the Master's program in Design, Strategy and Innovation in apprenticeship at PARADE (ERAM Group), a specialist in safety footwear and equipment. Passionate about footwear design and innovation, he aspires to promote responsible design in the footwear industry.
The Global Footwear Awards recognize the best in the footwear industry, highlighting creativity, innovation, sustainability, and social impact. They provide an international platform for professionals and students to share their innovative solutions in sustainability, from concept to manufacturing and beyond.
